Over the years, the Consortium of American Schools, Colleges, and Universities (CASCU) has come to fill a special position in the  International Higher Educational arena through it’s success in providing service and assistance to international students from different countries.  CASCU focused on Vietnam and Thailand to provide students who reside in those countries with educational and professional opportunities for a better quality of life in the form of workshops and  International College Fair.

This year  CASCU  held its first International College Fair in both locations, which well attended by over 4,000 students in Vietnam and 2,000 in Thailand .   Overall, CASCU has designed its International College Fair as an opportunity for international students to start thinking about the next step on a path toward achieving educational success and it is doing  just that.  It was thrilling and so exciting to see students so involved in their educational adventures.

The Annual International College Fair was held in May at the New World Hotel Saigon in Vietnam and the Westin Grand Sukumvit Hotel in Thailand . The locations were centrally located and allowed students the opportunity to meet one-on-one with admissions representatives from numerous educational institutions from different countries throughout the world.

There were also workshops that were presented by CASCU staff members who are experts in the field of international student enrollment process and procedures. A representative from California International University remarked “he was impressed by the level of enthusiasm and remarkable participation of the students in both Vietnam and Thailand who attended the fair”.

My name is Hung and I attend the Outerspace Language School. I have been learning English for three years, my TOEFL score is 620; and my goal is to study abroad.

From the very start of the journey to study abroad, CASCU has been very helpful to me; this is because CASCU is an expert about Overseas Studies Consultancy.  As far as I know, CASCU has sent thousands of international students to different countries for high schools and higher education.

CASCU provides me with trustful information not only about what each school has to offer but also about all the procedures necessary for my study in a foreign country.  I highly appreciate their help and all the information they provided before I left for the U.S.   I am extremely impressed by their professional working style as well as their enthusiasm for helping students.

My name is Nguyen Ngoc Ha and I am attending LEECAM School. I have been studying English for ten years. Regarding my intention to study abroad, CASCU has been extremely helpful to me.

Thanks to the recommendation of LEECAM, I have come to know that CASCU has been celebrating many events that can attract many students and support them so that they can take part in the global education environment of many famous universities in the U.S.A.

By supplying many information and workshops, CASCU enables students to meet the requirements of American Universities.

I am a senior student and I am planning to go to the U.S.A to continue my Masters Degree in Management at Irvine University. CASCU is my only choice when I want to complete all the necessary procedures. At this time, I am going to the College Fair that CASCU will hold in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam along with many of my friends, who are assured to find plenty of useful information and helpful counseling at the event.

CASCU is an association of United States Educational Institutions working together with other Universities, Colleges, and  High Schools  to create  opportunities that encourages students from diverse cultural backgrounds to participate in scholarly academic achievement. CASCU is committed to recognizing the diverse needs of all students.

Recently , CASCU conducted a national survey to determine two major target areas.  To understand if American Universities, Colleges and High Schools would be available to accept International Students from around  the world. If there was a need and desire from the International community for students to attend National Universities, Colleges and High Schools.

The Results Of The Surveys Indicated The Following:

• 89% of the responding American Universities are interested in accepting International Students who met their University’s criteria for admissions.
• 98.2% responses indicated that there was a tremendous desire for International students to attend American Universities.  These respondents also informed us that they had no direct avenue that could assist them in seeking out the best Universities, Colleges or schools in America to meet their needs.

The Vietnamese Students of the International Cross Cultural Services (ICCS) in Vietnam, travel to the United States during the summer months of June and July to enrich their awareness and understanding of the cultural diversities and ethnic difference  among students in the United States.  The Consortium of Schools, Colleges, and Universities, an association of educational institutions that offer academic opportunities and give guidance to students of diverse cultural backgrounds, host and sponsor the Vietnamese students during their visit in the United States.

The purpose of the student’s visit to the United States is to make them aware of the educational opportunities that are available to them for their future vocation.  The students visit colleges and universities of higher learning and participate in career building activities that provide the necessary skills and tools to achieve  their academic goals.  The colleges and universities that the students visit are the University of Southern California, the University of California in Los Angeles, Loyola/Marymount, Otis College of Design, and the Art Institute.

Through the Boys and Girls Club of America, the students are able to achieve their goals by participating in structured activities and planned programs.  Upon the completion of the summer day camp program, the Vietnamese Students are able to communicate and adapt to students of different backgrounds and cultures.  The overall experience in Southern California and in the United States, give students a deeper understanding and perspective of the global community in which they live in each day.
